Duluth, Ga. -- Feb. 12, 2008 -- The board of directors of DataPath, Inc., a leading provider of satellite and wireless communications networks around the world, has named David J. Helfgott as president and chief executive officer. As a 20-year industry veteran, he has extensive experience in satellite, broadband, telecommunications and government networking services.
Helfgott had served as president and chief operating officer since joining the company in 2006. He succeeds Tom Dyer as CEO, and Mr. Dyer now serves as executive chairman of the board of directors. Wilson Lowery resigned as chairman of the board, and he continues to serve as a director.
