Dr. Sherin S. Kamal is an international business executive with extensive experience in driving revenue and profitable growth. Before joining DataPath as President & CEO he most recently served as Chief Engineer and Senior Director of Technical Services at SAIC. Prior to his 10-plus years at SAIC, Dr. Kamal served as Founder and CEO, Senior Vice President and General Manager, and Vice President of Engineering at advanced networking technology companies. He has led businesses to strong growth in both domestic and international markets. Dr. Kamal is a frequent contributor to major conferences and white papers and is recognized as a thought leader in the areas of advanced military networks and emerging wireless and satellite communication technologies.
As DataPath’s Chief Operating Officer Brad will support the company as it expands in scale and continues its focus on quality and efficiency. Brad assumes a broad base of responsibilities including engineering and technology, processes and quality, information systems, supply chain, program management, logistics, technical services, and customer care. A satellite-industry veteran, Majeres brings extensive leadership experience to DataPath, having previously served as a business line general manager and head of engineering, program management, and operations at organizations including ViaSat, General Dynamics, and Scientific Atlanta. Brad is a proud graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and has devoted his career to innovation and excellence in the Satellite Communications industry.
Carter Johnson serves as DataPath’s SVP and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining DataPath he was a SVP of Finance with Meggitt. Additionally, he was the Senior Finance Officer of Barco’s Aerospace and Defense Division for five years. His previous experience includes leadership roles in several technology and software firms with responsibilities in Finance, Technology, Project Management, Procurement, and Business Operations.
Before moving into the private sector, Carter served in the US Army as an Aviation Officer and Comptroller. His assignments included multiple command, operations, and intelligence positions in the states and overseas. As a Colonel in the Army Reserve, Carter currently serves as a liaison officer with NORTHCOM.
Carter has an MBA from Syracuse University, is a graduate of the Defense Comptroller Program, and recently completed the US Army’s War College. Carter is a Certified Defense Financial Manager.
As Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, Mr. Drachmann is responsible for both commercial and international military markets. Mr. Drachmann brings 25 years of experience in delivering large-scale revenue, profit, and market share growth for companies in the telecommunications and entertainment industries. Prior to joining DataPath, Mr. Drachmann served in a number of senior leadership positions with telecommunications giant Nokia, in a range of roles from product development, to sales and marketing, to running regional operations. He has executive MBA training from Stanford University and a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering and Electronics from the Technical University of Denmark.
As Chief Human Resources & Legal Officer, Deirdre Macbeth is responsible for leading the human resources and legal strategies, initiatives and operations of DataPath. She focuses on building strong partnerships to shape both the business and HR/legal strategy as well as implementing HR/legal solutions that facilitate long-term growth initiatives. Prior to joining DatPath, Deirdre most recently served as a versatile senior leader of Airports Worldwide, a global airport management company, as Head of Human Resources & Corporate Counsel and previously worked as an attorney in private practice specializing in labor & employment, corporate and contract law. Deirdre is an active member of the Florida State Bar. She received her law degree from The Ohio State University and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Georgia.
